Praise In My House – Out Now
We’re beginning to see pockets of home-group-style worship settings where Christians are singing songs from from the heart which reflect their communities. This album is our ‘two pence worth’ from the South Coast of England.
These songs are the voices of many small gatherings of believers, seeking God’s Kingdom in our region. We’ve worshipped and served together and these songs have birthed. I may have been the one with ‘the pen’, but truly these are words and sentiments of a far wider family.
The album you’re about to hear (or see) was recorded live – no over-dubbed vocals! A brave mixture of people, in and out of tune, singing out from the depths of their soul. This was all captured by Paul Burton, and a group of volunteers, and funded by the community.
I hope these songs can capture some of your heart, place them to a melody, and be a part of your worship to God.
Some churches to mention that have been instrumental in the birth of these songs are: Go Church, Horsham | Portsdown Community Church, Havant | Elim Family Church, Southwater | Pioneer Engage Church, Leatherhead | Gatwick Immigration Removal Centres | Cornerstone Church, Johnson City, TN | Farnham Vineyard, Surrey.
